Now that the Probus Club of Kingsway-Islington is able to meet again in person, the Greeters have resumed greeting members and guests to welcome attendees properly. For more information, contact Loretta Fines at lorettafines@sympatico.ca.

Probus Club of Kingsway-Islington Greeters

September to November and January to June, as members and guests arrive at our monthly meeting, they are welcomed by two smiling Probus members.

The greeters may be two friends who enjoy doing this every year, a married couple, or two people who had not previously met. The Greeters sign on in October and November for one month’s meeting the following year and their names are announced in the newsletter.

In December, on the special occasion of our Christmas luncheon, we are greeted by members of our management committee.

The greeters play an important role in contributing to the welcoming environment of our Probus club.

Benefits of belonging to the Greeters Group.

By belonging to the Greeters group, members make the acquaintance of all members of our Probus Club while greeting them at the front door of the Golf and Country Club.
